Grace Line:  A fold-out brochure (16" by 26") from 1937 for Grace Line's intercoastal service from New York to San Francisco aboard the still sparkling SANTA ROSA Class of 1932.

The SANTAS were smallish ships at 9100 tons but designer William Francis Gibbs made them look much bigger because of their twin stacks.  The wonderful cover graphic shows a section of the ships while inside is a color photo of a shipboard swimming pool.  Small plans of three decks fill one corner.  Also included are extensive rate and sailing info for the SANTA ROSA, SANTA PAULA, and SANTA ELENA; destination photos and descriptions; and a nineteen-day itinerary for the New York to San Francisco voyage.  Later in 1937 Grace dropped the intercoastal service and concentrated on Caribbean and South American routes.

Good condition.
