About 101 Tips to Your Next and Best Triathlon

"The scariest part of triathlon is . . ."

Many potential competitors are intimidated by the physical demands of race courses over largely unknown terrain, the challenge of swimming and biking in the midst of so many others, and the fear of looking foolish by doing something that no "experienced" triathlete would do.

This book provides a wealth of practical advice that’s not covered in virtually any of the triathlon training guides and is designed to ensure that the next triathlon experience is successful and rewarding.

Each of the chapters in the book are set up in the same order as a triathlon competitor will experience in the actual race, from Pre-race Planning through Post-race Transition.  It explains, and provides specific advice on, such items as what equipment to bring to the race, how to choose a spot in transition, how to safely position yourself for the swim, how to help overcome leg muscle soreness in the transition from bike to run and how to make sure your race photos capture your best side.

101 Tips to Your Next and Best Triathlon is easy to read and is intended for a general audience.  The book avoids technical jargon and watercolor illustrations are added to provide a bit of humor.

Whether you’re a beginner trying to survive your first triathlon, or an experienced triathlete trying to improve your times, this book is a must-read, skills and confidence builder.
