Circle Hooks:
Circle hooks have become more
popular in catfishing over the last

BP  hooks:
This Boilie/Pellet (BP) hook model is ideal for the increasing number of anglers using pellets and large boilies for catfish, in the UK and abroad. Very short shank, wide gape with a heavy gauge wire they offer a great balance for a boilie or pellet bait.

Ready Made Hair Rigs:

Ready made catfish hair rigs made using top quality catlink and eagle wave hooks. Available in barbed size 4 to 2/0 and barbless size 2 to 2/0.

Squid Rigs:

Ready made catfish Squid rigs made using top quality flourocarbon 44lb and eagle wave hooks. Available in barbed or barbless 1/0 and barblessCustom rig for squid baits. Incorporates a bait holding clip to take the weight of the bait on casting to allow the hook to be lighlty inserted into the bait to minimize the chances of the hook being masked. Rig also includes a bait shield to help keep the bait in position.

Rubber beads:

Strong rubber beads with large diameter holes for using with the thicker lines used for catfishing. The X large bead is needed for use with the large bore of the Super Slider run rings.


Bait Shields:
These thick rubber discs originally designed by Catfish-Pro can be used to put on a hook after a bait to ensure it doesn’t slip off. Particularly useful when using barbless hooks and baits such as leeches, worms and livebaits. They can also be used above hair stops to spread the pressure when mounting bigger softer baits on a hair such as luncheon meat or liver. Egg pro-poppers:
Original design dense foam eggs for use when buoyancy is required. These are drab green to avoid attracting pike.

Catocopter:
A tried and tested buoyant paternoster rig allowing you to fish at any depth. This livebait rig is ideal for deeper water and if there is a lot of weed on the bottom. As a paternoster rig you can vary the length of the bomb link and adjust the top stop knot for the depth to fish at. Note: this rig is supplied on a wire to enable you to slide the components straight on to line, the wire is not part of the rig.

Polyball livebait rigs:
Primarily for use with livebaits this rig can also be used with worms. This rig features a hair with a polystyrene ball on to lift the bait off the bottom. If using worms the bait will sit suspended. If using a livebait the polyball will keep the bait more active and attract catfish. More catfish have been caught on this rig than probably any other. Recommended to be fished on a running leger set up and uses 25lb Toughlink for hooklink.

Catlink XT:
XT is an extra tough, soft braided hooklink that has been impregnated to boost its abrasion
resistance. Available in a range of breaking strains it covers all catfishing requirements in the UK and abroad. It has a little stretch in it to absorb the shock of striking. Breaking Strains available: 40lb (20m spool), 70lb (15m spool), 120lb (10m spool), 220lb (10m spool).

Dumbell Rig:
The way in which it presents a sub surface bait attracts catfish and allows the bait to work well. Primarily designed as a livebait rig this rig is also effective when using worms or squid as a bait. Fished on running leger these rigs are buoyant enough to rise to the surface. It is  recommended to use the Catfish-Pro Super slider run rings with these rigs to maximize free running nature of the rig. This rig is fished “semi fixed” in that the hooklink swivel should be pulled into the soft silicon on the end of the dumbell. Hooklinks should be shorter that the dumbell itself to minimize risk of tangling. All dumbell rigs are supplied with sheet showing how to set up and fish the rig.

Super Sliders:
With catfish being particularly sensitive to resistance using ceramic run rings on your lead links can significantly help. The Super Slider ceramic run rings have a frame and a lug on the side for clipping on to snap swivels or lead links.

Sub-Surface Tipper Rig:
This rig has taken apart many well fished catfish waters during 2016. It is primarily designed for using with leeches on the hook but can also be used for using with small livebaits and worms. This sub surface buoyant rig is similar to the dumbell in that it is
fished on a running leger and pops up to the surface. However, this rig features a length of semi-rigid tubing at one end that provides a softer level of resistance allowing the bait to work more effectively by swimming against the resistance. The rig is fished at a 45 degree angle to minimise tangling. Supplied with an information sheet on how to set up and use.
