Description
This bronze statue is a genuine antique figure cast in India in the 19th century or earlier. It is very hard to be definitive with metal sculptures, however, this example has all the markings and traits of antiquity.
The figure depicts Vishnu in a meditative pose. He is sitting in the full lotus position with hands resting in a traditional mantra manner.
In original condition with no attempt to clean the figure. It is in very good antique condition. Note manufacturing cracks to the integral plinth. The photos form part of the description and condition report.
Measures: H11cm, base 6.8 x 6cm; 282g.
