The beehives of our suppliers are located right here, in the Pacific North West, in small towns around Mt. Hood and Mt. St. Helens. Most of the hives are placed higher in the mountains (for the blooms of the wildflowers and cedar trees for the bees to enjoy), and all of them are away from the highways, city pollution, and smoggy air of the bigger towns. Thus, no unwanted by-products of the human civilization get dragged into the hives. These beeswaxes are truly, honestly pure. We do not even use chlorinated water: the farms have their own artesian wells here.
As you most likely already know, beeswax serves as a natural air purifier by emitting negative ions and has a natural fain honey smell.

As you most likely already know, beeswax serves as a natural air purifier by emitting negative ions and has a natural fain honey smell. Soy wax is another natural alternative, as well as coconut and apricot waxes that are derived from the respective plants.

Raw Beeswax is a rare medicinal find. It is not processed at all or messed with in any way. (This is my favorite wax, but of course I’m a health nut!)

Everything you read about the health benefits of "beeswax" is present at its strongest in raw beeswax. Unfortunately, in our Western mind's quest to make everything uniform and pretty, these qualities are "edited out" from generally available beeswaxes, in an attempt to make them look smoother and adhere to the container seamlessly. Some particles and impurities that came from the hive can sometimes be seen in the this wax, but this is what accounts for its high antioxidant content and air purification qualities.

This wax has not been heated to high temperatures, so the natural structure of the original wax and all its medicinal aromatics and volatile healing compounds are still there—the most important of which, to me, is Propolis. In the interest of not making the description too lengthy, just look it up. You’ll be amazed at what Propolis and its fumes do!

White beeswax is a refined type of pure, 100% beeswax. Beeswax is a natural air purifier and ionizer, and also eliminates unwanted smells simply by the virtue of being lit in the room

Yellow beeswax is less processed, so it retains more of the original scent and color. These may have a faint honey smell. 100% naturally gathered beeswax

Soy Wax is a great modern-day alternative. Please Google it for more information if you’re not familiar with the benefits of Soy Wax. To us, it’s all about being paraffin free. Let your preference be your guide

Raw Beeswax retains a little bit of the coconut smell, which we love!

Beeswax Coconut Blend is a mix of beeswax and coconut

Beeswax blend is a mix of beeswax and vegetable oil – this is a great, least expensive alternative to going totally paraffin and chemical free with your candles

Apricot Wax
is derived from apricot kernels, and is soft yellow in color, with a faint natural fruity smell of its own

In either of the above cases, all these candles are a great choice for those suffering from allergies and sensitivities, and may even reduce asthma symptoms

These candles are unscented. If you prefer a little bit of aroma, please consider our scented version: The designer scents are very dramatic, potent and unique. You may also enjoy a small artistic touch of a clay shell, not to mention its health benefit:
