This cute sculpture depicts a young boy carrying an extra pair of boots. The pose is one of bravado, with the boy sporting a stub of a cigarette in the corner of his mouth and his hands on his hips. The piece is made by Julius Schmidt Felling, a German sculptor who was quite prolific. Many of his bronzes (larger) have gone through famous auction houses in Europe. This one is a perfect desk piece, perfect for an educator or someone involved with children.
Measurements are: 2 1/2" by 2" and 4 1/2" tall.
