This is an original Hugh Morton {1921-2006} Hand Signed 1967 Letter to award winning sports journalist Furman Bisher. Hugh Morton was a famous Nature and Sports photographer and nature conservationist. He developed Grandfather Mountain, a state park in the Blue Ridge Mountains in North Carolina. He worked as a sports photographer at the University of North Carolina for over six decades. He authored two books of his photographs. Serving as a newsreel photographer in the Pacific during World War II, Morton was wounded on the island of Luzon and was awarded the Bronze Star and Purple Heart.
