Waterslide Decals for Scalextric C051 BRM P160
These are custom "home made" decals specifically designed to fit the Scalextric BRM.
There are six versions available and can represent:
- Yardley Livery of Peter Gethin, Monza 71, 1st Place
- Yardley Livery of Jo Siffert, Osterrichring 71, 1st place
- Yardley Livery of Pedro Rodriguez, Zandvoort 71, 2nd place
- Yardley Livery of Vic Elford, Nurburgring 71
- Marboro Livery of Howden Ganley, 1972
- Marlboro Livery of Niki Lauda, Argentina 1973 (Niki's debut F1 Race with BRM)
Whilst specifically meant for the white version of this car they will fit any of the BRM P160 cars although will not have the same effect as the transfer is transparent.. Note - auction is for the sheet of decals only and does not include the car pictured.
Instructions for use:
-
Clean the
surface where the decal is to be applied. Smooth and glossy is best.
-
Cut out
your decal carefully, leave a small amount (.5mm) around the
design.
-
Place the
decal in warm water for 20 secs or until it just moves on the backing
paper
-
Transfer to
surface using tweezers and position carefully, using something like a wooden
toothpick.
-
Roll a
cotton bud over the decal to squeeze out any water. Only do this a couple of
times.
-
Once dry, for decals with white or gold ink in them, its recommended to apply a coat of Microscale Micro Gloss. For sets without use acrylic laquer. If you interested in decals for more cars, then please see my other auctions.
Thanks for Looking!
