This Tradescantia is a beautiful variety producing stunning purplish blue flowers on a compact green foliage in summer which turns gold in autumn. The blooms are produced in rapid succession through the season from late spring to early autumn and never seem to be absent from June to Sept. They will quickly form an impressive clump in the border.
They are not fussy about soil but do prefer some shade.
A wonderful fully hardy perennial plant, looks fantastic planted in a row, perfect for any cottage garden or herbaceous garden border, can also be grown in pots.
