This listing is for a Vintage Ten X TenXpert Network DVD/CD-ROM Server for a CD Jukebox, with an IBM DDRS-39130 9GB SCSI HDD.

At first we thought that this was a regular NAS appliance, but research revealed that it is intended to be connected to a SCSI Jukebox or optical drive. We believe that it then makes local copies of the optical media, serving them over the network faster than an optical drive would.

Prior to listing it was powered on, went through its self test, scanned the SCSI but and complained that no optical drive was attached. We were able to use the front panel buttons to perform basic functions like looking up the serial number or the firmware version.

No further testing was performed. Due to the limited testing and, because vintage components can fail at any time, it is sold as-is, officially "for parts or not working" with no guarantee that you will experience the same results as we did. In fair cosmetic condition, with minor scuffs, scratches or marks. Listing is for the unit only, with no power cord, ethernet cable or other accessories.

This is the only one on the market - don't let it get away!
