A REPAIR KIT FOR REPLACING DAMAGED HIGH TENSION (HT) SPARK PLUG LEADS.

THE LEAD IS MANUFACTURED HERE IN THE UK USING UK MADE PARTS.

IT CONSISTS OF A 90 DEGREE PLUG BOOT, WITH THE LATEST SPECIFICATION LUCAS SILICONE HT CORD.

THE PLUG BOOT IS DESIGNED SPECFICALLY TO SUIT THE SHORTER CERAMIC FOUND ON COMPACT SPARK PLUGS USED ON CHAINSAWS, STRIMMERS, BRUSHCUTTERS, LAWNMOWERS ETC.

THE TOTAL LENGTH OF THE LEAD & PLUG IS 10 INCHES LONG (LONGER LENGTH UPON REQUEST)...

IT CAN BE SPLICED IN TO ANY DAMAGED OR FAULTY ORIGINAL HT LEAD.

COMES SUPPLIED WITH ADHESIVE LINED HEATSHRINK AND A COPPER FERRULE,

  TO AID IN MAKING AN EFFECTIVE REPAIR.

  - DO NOT TRY TO SOLDER THE NEW CONNECTION..

The Supplied Ferrule is to be Crimped/Squashed.

The New HT lead has a carbon core not copper, do not cut the lead in to small pieces trying to find copper..

Gently score the outer black and white sheath 8mm from the end, and pull the end off to expose a rubbery core 2mm thick, this is a conductive carbon core that you gently squash with the old copper core in the opposite side of the supplied copper ferrule..

Then shrink the small piece of heat shrink on the join, and then apply the heavy adhesive lined heatshrink...

Now let the whole lot cool down... Once cool, your good to go..

The item recieved may differ slightly from the photo due to changes in manufacture's product, but will always be the same top quality..

Please Note- Some of the New generation small cc and strato charged engines use an ultra compact 10mm thread spark plug... you may need to trim a few mm off the boot to allow the terminal to reach the plug nipple.
