Up for sale is an antique Chinese underglaze celadon porcelain happy Buddha possibly dating to Han Dynasty; longquan ware. No glaze on the Buddha's body, due to the age some paint peeled off from the body, the Buddha's clothes are very beautifully decorated with thick underglaze celadon.

Some of body paint peeled off, no chips, cracks, repairs, and restoration, good antique condition. There may be age
commensurate wear, and expected small Firing / Manufacturing faults. (Please
examine all photos carefully, as they are part of the condition report. Any
material condition clearly visible in photographs is considered to have been
disclosed and described.)

Payment:
Buyers must pay within 3 days of auction or the sale is void.
Buyers pay shipping costs and insurance is required.
Most the items require handling fees. Handling fee is mostly for the
purpose of purchasing insurance and safe packing material. For porcelain
and fragile items, we will use double boxes with plenty of packing peanuts and
bubble wraps to pack.
Shipping: Please note that all
shipping and insurance costs are estimates as the item is not packed until it
has been sold. Insurance fee is not determined until after the purchase and
will be added after the purchase. Our default domestic shipping method is USPS First Class
Mail, (for small package only < 1lb) USPS Priority Mail, and UPS Ground. Our
default international shipping method is USPS Priority Mail International or
USPS Priority Mail Express International. Signature confirmation service
required on items valued over $500, for USPS, it costs $2.90 and for UPS, it
is $5. Our domestic & international shipping rates are based
on the size and weight of the item after it has been packed. We require that
all items shipped internationally be mailed using a mail service providing
tracking information as well as insurance. Customs: Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included
in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are the buyer's
responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine
what these additional costs will be prior to bidding or buying. We will not
falsify customs declarations or mark an item as a "gift". Customs:
International shipments are occasionally held and inspected by Customs
officials for a period of time. We are not responsible for covering the
shipping and insurance costs on any item returned to us by international
customs agents. Returns: Return is not accepted. Lost or
Damage: Lost or Damaged Items: Unfortunately, boxes are
occasionally lost, or go missing during transit. In the event of loss or
missing, buyer is required to notify the carrier so that a trace can be
started, following their procedure, the insurance claim can usually be filed
no sooner than one (1) month after the carrier has started their trace of the
package. In case of item damaged, buyer agrees that get it in post
office writing, and agree that providing all the required claim documentation.
The buyer will be refunded only after the insurance claim has been completed. |
