Waterslide Decals for Scalextric C127 McLaren M23

This is a custom "home made" decal set specifically designed to fit the Scalextric McLaren M23 (C127 version - not modern one). 

• This one represents the car driven by Dave Charlton in the South African GP of 1974 in the distinctive "Lucky Strike" Livery

Note - auction is for the sheet of decals only and does not include the car pictured.

Instructions for use:

• Clean the surface where the decal is to be applied. Smooth and glossy is best.
• Cut out your decal carefully, leave a small amount (.5mm) around the design.
• Place the decal in warm water for 20 secs or until it just moves on the backing paper
• Transfer to surface using tweezers and position carefully, using something like a wooden toothpick.
• Roll a cotton bud over the decal to squeeze out any water. Only do this a couple of times.
• Once dry, its recommended to apply a coat of Clear acrylic laquer or something similar.
