This is an antique Certificate of Character and Discharge that has been hand filled in for Seaman Henry Scott of Morpeth on the ship Eliza Mary in 1868 which went to Spain... the Master of the ship I cannot quite read... William ?...and its signed twice....but difficult to read the surname..
In collectable condition with normal signs of age and use wear. The paper is very thin and tissue-like. Creased and discoloured from age and there are also a couple of small tears down the creases.

The certificate measures approx. 12 inches x 6 and 1/2 inches.
