Authentic Large Hand Carved AFRICAN Ebony Wood Tribal Statue FATHER’S LOVE - Stunning

Absolutely amazing artistry on display here. This beautiful piece was purchased at an estate sale. Previous owner was a very wealthy world traveler, often visiting the Congo and other African countries. Was told this is likely from the Congo, but I cannot locate any indication or marks on the piece. I'm calling it "Father's Love," simply because I think it's apt. Three children accompany the father figure. Two in his arms and one playfully resides securely, peeking through his legs. The statue is made of solid, ebony wood. It stands nearly 30" tall and weighs over 40 pounds. The piece is in excellent shape. Upon close inspection, I located two very small hairline cracks as shown in pictures. These cracks do not compromise the stability in any way. Other than that, it looks pretty clean. The detail is fantastic. This would certainly rival any centerpiece of anyone's collection. Due to the nature and weight, I'm offering local pickup with no returns. Thanks for looking.
