The K40Y-9 are high quality PIO capacitors made for the Soviet military. The conductor is made of aluminium foil and the dielectric is oil saturated paper, glass sealed in a metal body.

These Russian capacitors are similar in construction and performance to the more expensive Vitamin Q's.

These capacitors provide excellent sonic characteristics, with a high tolerance in a wide temperature range. Excellent for audio-applications.

0.022uF is a common value for Les Paul's, SG's, ES Series and other guitars using humbucker-pickups
