Victorian 9ct Gold Emerald & Pearl Cluster Ring c1860
UK Ring Size 'M 1/2', or US Ring Size '6 1/2'

A stunning Victorian 9ct Gold Emerald & Pearl Cluster Ring, which dates to c1860 (please see the detailed close-up photographs provided, which form an integral part of the item's description).

This wonderful Antique Ring, which weighs 1.6 grams, has Chased Scroll Decoration to the Shank leading to the Trifurcated Shoulders each of which is decorated with a Gold Floral Motif & a Pearl set Trefoil. The focal point is the Flowerhead Cluster Bezel (diameter approx' 8.0mm) set to the centre with a Cushion-cut Emerald surrounded by a

Border of five Pearls.

Typical of the Period the ring is unmarked, but it has been tested and is guaranteed to

be made from solid 9ct Gold. It is complete with it's Glazed Locket Back to the reverse with it's original Bevelled Crystal (would have originally held a hairwork memento no longer there). Overall the ring is in great condition with wear commensurate with age, as shown - it has been re-sized historically and a the shank has been enlarged with a plain insert.

The ring is sized as a UK Ring Size 'M 1/2', which equates to a US Ring Size '6 1/2' -as with almost all antique rings the band is slightly ovalized i.e it is not perfectly round and it measures slightly differently on the gauge depending on how it is positioned, however this will not affect the ring when worn.

In summary, this is a stunning Victorian 9ct Gold Emerald & Pearl Cluster Ring dating to c1860 - it is quite simply sublime.
