This is a phenomenal representation of the wonderful work of Max Neiger. High-dome fx Peking Glass Cabochons and Pharoahs, with detailed enameled wings, winding snakes, all set in a brass mesh-webbed setting. Terminates with a hidden push clasp.

Note - One pharoah cab has been replaced with a similar but not same cab, and another pharoah cab has a chip (see all photos). Also, the safety chain has broken link, easy repair. Regardless of these condition issues, this bracelet is a spectacular and rare representation of Max Neiger's work.
In the 20s and 30s, Max and Norbert Neiger's jewels were held in high regard for their daring design and impeccable attention to quality and detail. It is known that other makers tried to follow in their foot steps but fell short of reaching their high standards. The Neiger brothers were of Jewish faith and when their region became part of the Reich in 1938 they escaped into Czech where they continued with their jewelery manufacturing. They were later arrested and killed in Auschwitz.
