"SOP" at Sher-wood stands for "Special Order Pattern." 

The goalie stick is Made in Canada.

Please see the fifth picture of our listing. While we can't find a picture of Hedberg using this stick, you'll notice Martin Brodeur with the same model stick in his hands, so at least we know this is a New Jersey pro stock stick !
