Denison, a city in Grayson County, Texas, 75 miles north of Dallas, with a population of 22,682.  It was founded in 1872 in conjunction with the Missouri-Kansas-Texas Railroad and because the town was established close to where the railroad crossed the Red River, it came to be an important commercial center in the 19th century.  Wikipedia
The card was published by “S.H. Kress & Co.” who was a publisher and large distributor of postcards through their national chain of Five & Dime stores, now gone.  It was postmarked 1919 in Dennison and is in good condition with some minor wear on the corners and waffling on the image.  Not a bad card.
