Waterslide Decals for MRRC Williams FW07

These are custom "home made" decals specifically designed as replacements to fit the MRRC Williams FW07. They depict the car driven by Alan Jones, or Clay Regazzoni in the 1979 Formula One Championship..

The FW07 was based on the highly successful Lotus 79, using ground effect technology, but due to reliability issues did not reach the height of its performance until too late in the season for Alan Jones to win the title, ultimately being beaten by Jody Scheckter in the Ferrari

Note - auction is for the sheet of decals only and does not include the car pictured.

Instructions for use:

Clean the surface where the decal is to be applied. Smooth and glossy is best.

Cut out your decal carefully, leave a small amount (.5mm) around the design.

Place the decal in warm water for 20 secs or until it just moves on the backing paper

Transfer to surface using tweezers and position carefully, using something like a wooden toothpick.

Roll a cotton bud over the decal to squeeze out any water. Only do this a couple of times.

***Use DECALFIX for any complex curves which helps the decal to soften and expand and contract to the car body***

Once dry, its recommended to apply a coat of something like acrlyic laquer to seal the decals in.
