Primitive 1930-1939's Antique Wool Pile Muted Natural Dye Legendary Armenian rug from Nagorno-Karabakh.  It is symmetrically hand-knotted on solid cotton foundation.

It measures 6'4" x 9'5"  and professionally cleaned. It features repetitive cross medallion in the ivory background and surrounded crosses on pink main border. I noticed moth grazes and i pointed them out in pictures # 5,6,7th. I recommend the use of non-skid rug pad underneath to keep it flat on smooth surfaces.

I believe this amazing Hereke rug will enhance your antique rug collection and grace your floor with muted dyes that are joyful, happy and inspirational. It will make a big statement on your decor.

This is a distinctly original and genuine hand knotted Hereke wool rug. The pattern is classically Armenian medallion in the field and along with cross  borders that are the rarest Hereke motifs which will blend in timelessly in your decor and prints that echo the Fine taste and cultural history of these gifted people.
