BUTYCAPS capsules is a dietary supplement based on tributyrine (butyrate triglyceride) in soft gelatin capsule format.

What is Tributirin?

It is a triglyceride that contains 3 molecules of butyric acid. Once the lipase enzyme acts in digestion, the tributirins release the butyric acid molecules. Butyric acid is a short chain fatty acid with a very important role in the metabolism and homeostasis of the digestive system, mainly in the last part of the intestine, the colon.

Butyric acid has important properties for intestinal health, which include both the nutrition and trophism of intestinal cells, and the promotion of a balanced intestinal microbiota.

It comes in a container that contains 60 soft gelatin capsules with 450 mg tributyrin per capsule.
