Unusual rosewood figurehead from small vessel. Wood looks like rosewood. Circa 1920-1960. Measures 35 inches in length. Cut mark at base with associated losses at base. Makes for great folk art statue. Not sure what country of origin is, but it is a beautiful work, possibly Nordic or Canadian? This is not a souvenir or a replica, this was made for an actual vessel.
