ST X COILOVER KITS

The ST X coilover kits allow a moderate to extreme lowering thanks to the stepless thread adjustment.

The ST X coilovers made by KW can be adjusted quickly and easily via the trapezoidal thread on the galvanized and multi-sealed spring strut in the level of lowering. To do this, the ST polyamide thread spring ring is turned up or down when installed. The adjustment range is different for each vehicle, for example on the Audi A3 it is between 35 and 65 mm on the front and rear axles. With a vehicle that is already relatively low in series production, such as the BMW 3 Series (E9x), individual lowerings in the range of 30 to 60 mm at the front and 25 to 55 mm at the rear can be achieved with the ST X coilover kits.

On vehicles with non-wheel-guiding double wishbone rear axles, the lowering is set via the ST X coilovers rear axle height adjustment.

A damper adjustment for more driving pleasure

The focus of the damper setup used by ST Suspensions in cooperation with KW is on a sporty set-up. This reduces the typical rolling and rolling movements of the body during compression. A vehicle equipped with an ST X coilover suspension reacts more directly to all driving maneuvers and is significantly more agile when driving. For example, the nose of the vehicle dips less during braking maneuvers and the handling properties improve. The high-quality processing of the ST X coilovers includes a low-friction and pressure-resistant housing as well as a chrome-plated piston rod. The monoblock guide and seal package, which protects the twin-tube damper from the ingress of dirt particles, also ensures long driving pleasure.
