Use your LDG IT-100 automatic antenna tuner with ANY radio!

More than just ICOM radios that have the 4 pin Molex connector.
I created this cable because I love my LDG tuner so much that I want to be able to use it with all of my other radios!

The cable that comes with the LDG IT-100 is made to plug into a compatible ICOM radio that has the 4 pin Molex connector on the back.
Well, only the newest ICOM radios have this connector.
You can buy either of these DC power cables (with or w/o Power Poles) and plug the connector into the back of your IT-100 and then connect the Red wire to your DC power supply positive voltage and the Black to negative.

The LDG IT-100 is an amazing Automatic antenna tuner and now when you change radios or want to use a different one from your radio collection, you can still use the same tuner!

How do I do it?
After your IT-100 tuner is connected to your radios RF output coax connector and your antenna and powered using our cable, put your radio in the AM mode (so you get a
constant carrier at a reduced power level) , (if no AM mode, use CW or FM mode, reduce power down to 25 watts or less) press the "TUNE" button on the IT-100 for about 1 second to put it in the "I'm ready to tune your antenna for you" mode. Key your radio and keep it keyed until the tuner stops its tuning work.
After it is done finding a match, put your radio back in the mode you desire to use and enjoy operating your radio!
Remember this is only a DC power cable, I suggest reading page 9 of the IT-100 manual to see how it works to operate the IT-100 via it's front panel.

Update -- I bought a second LDG IT-100 to put in my "GO" box, so now I can keep one in my main station and have one to use anywhere!
