Every Function You Need to Diagnose Vehicle Circuit is Included in Autel PS100

The automotive circuit tester Autel PS100 can work on all 6volt to 30-volt vehicle electrical systems.

After a simple hook-up of the test probe tool to the vehicle's battery, you can do following tests, test the polarity, read current, voltage and resistance, and find faulty wires or fuses in the vehicles without effort:

  • Voltage & Polarity Testing: Determine at a glance if a circuit is positive, negative, or open without having to reconnect clips from one battery pole to another.
  • Continuity Testing: Test for continuity with its built-in auxiliary ground lead.
  • Component Testing & Trailer Light Testing: By depressing the power switch, conduct a positive or negative battery current to the probe tip for testing the function of an electrical component without the use of jumper wires.
  • Bad Ground Contacts Checking: Test for poor ground contacts instantly without performing voltage drop tests. The tool is also short-circuit protected; its internal circuit breaker will trip if it becomes overloaded.
  • Short Circuits Locating: Follow and locate short circuits without wasting fuses. The tool's long cable allows you to test along the entire length of the vehicle without constantly searching for suitable vehicle grounds.

Electrical System Tester

Provide Every User with Fast, Accurate, Agile Testing

Not only does the Autel vehicle circuit diagnostic tester PS100 has the power to complete every type of circuit test for vehicles, but it can also provide users with the most rapid and accurate testing outcomes. After numerous testing and verifications, we make sure that Autel PS100 can provide ready-to-read data without any delay. The LCD display will read the DC voltage with a resolution of 0.1 volts, even when you test low voltage, the numeral it reads can still be accurate.

What’s more, it has a built-in scope function, and you can use Autel circuit tester PS100 to probe sensors and get a visual scope pattern on the probe. With the advanced processor, waveforms like cam sensors, crank sensors, fuel injectors can be captured easily.

Circuit Breaker to Protect Overloaded

You are able to conduct full battery current to the tip of the probe when you press the switch forward.

The built-in circuit breaker is a nice feature to protect users, the test tool as well as the vehicle components, ensures their safety. Simply connect the extra ground lead to the tool and press the power switch forward and it will trip the circuit breaker. This will prevent power from going to the tip but still allow you to use the tool as a multimeter. When you are away from vehicle components, simple press the reset button and you are ready to power up again.

Head Light to Help You Work in Dark

PS100 has a headlight, which helps the technicians and mechanics to illuminate dark environments for better diagnoses. With this feature, there is no need for you to have another illuminating device when you want to diagnose circuits in corner areas or dim environments. Besides, Autel circuit tester PS100 also has a tone feature to make different sounds for mechanics to distinguish testing results in dark areas.

Questions & Answers You Might Concern About Circuit Tester PS100

Question: How to Power the PS100?

Answer: The circuit test tool is powered via the vehicle battery. Connect the RED battery clamp to the POSITIVE terminal of the vehicles battery, and the BLACK clamp to the NEGATIVE terminal. When the tool is first connected to a battery (power source), it will sound a beep and the Head Lights will be on to illuminate the test area of the probe tip.

Question: Are the PowerScan Probe Tester computer and air bag safe?

Answer: The tool LED and LCD pull no more than 1 milliamp of current, therefore when using it as a test light or multimeter it is computer and air bag safe. When you press the switch forward, you are conducting full battery current to the tip of the probe. The built-in circuit breaker will prevent power from going to the tip but still allow you to use the tool as a multimeter. When you are away from computer components, simple press the reset button and you are ready to power up again.

Question: Why do I have no power at the tip when I am pressing the power switch forward but the red LED is on?

Answer: The power switch goes through a lot. It is one of the few things that go wrong with the tool. The switch is a consumable that needs to be replaced on occasion. We have made it really simple to not only change it but also buy a new switch. The switch can be snapped out and replaced in seconds.
