G SCALE TUNNEL PORTAL

Built to approximately 1:24 scale, this portal could also work well with slightly larger or smaller scale trains and cars.

Built from naturally rot and insect resistant Western Red Cedar,this weather resistant portal has been assembled using galvanized fasteners and waterproof adhesives, then it was finished with exterior grade penetrating stains for additional protection and a heavily weathered look.

Portal measures 14 1/2" wide by 14 1/4" tall overall, and is 3/4" thick.

The opening is 7 1/2" wide by 9 1/4" tall, so it will work well with most common garden scale railroads.

This portal can be used at the end of your tunnels or as a frame around the entrance to openings sheds or garden walls.

You can stake, glue, screw or nail it just about anyplace, and is a perfect way to add a little character to diesel, electric or live steam operations from just about any era. ( no mounting hardware included )
