Boots may have little spots of excess glue around the sole where leather and rubber meet from Belleville factory during the manufacture process, but is easily removed! Remember, these were designed/manufactured for the Military for rugged use and will hold up to the harshest terrain.
** While these are sized as 13, many who have purchased with a size 12 foot, indicated that they comfortably fit. The insole measured at 12.5".
