Item: 2mm Classic Seal, Set of 6 

Application:  Direct, Drop-in replacement for both 2 piece and earlier 3 piece, 2mm apex seals in all Mazda 13B engines manufactured from 1986-1995. The seals are designed to work with OEM dual springs.

Aboutt:The Classic brand apex seal was introduced in 2002 and quickly became a very successful option to the limited number of apex seals offered in the market. Using a proprietary base material, Classic apex seals are designed to provide quick seating and exceptional sealing against even well worn housings, while providing high bending strength, heat resistance, wear characteristics and overall toughness. Seals that have been made from softer materials, such as C40 gray iron, wear rapidly and cannot withstand much in the way of high performance boost pressures experienced in most custom engine builds. Classic seals quickly became known as *"unbreakable" because our alloy was not nearly as brittle as other aftermarket seals. Classics could take a beating that would shatter all other competitors. When Classic seals have been pushed beyond their limits, they will sag or bend in the middle, while still being fully retained in the rotor groove. Other brands of apex seals, including OEM, tend to fail spectacularly, shattering into multiple pieces.  A broken seal is usually expelled from the rotor, causing catastrophic damage to the rotors, housings and, sometimes the turbo charger.

The Classic is a well balanced and proven design, that when installed in a properly tuned engine, will easily match or exceed the performance of any steel seal on the market.   

Notes: Always use NEW springs with Super Seals 

Warranty: Classic brand seals are guaranteed against defects in material and workmanship for 60 days from date of purchase.

Defective seals will be replaced.
