Key Features
Styrka's 10x42 S3-Series Binoculars are
engineered with complementary technologies to produce an optic that is built to
perform in the harshest conditions. Their BAK4 roof prisms are phase-corrected
and dielectric coated which limit internal light loss and diffraction, reduce
chromatic aberration and halos, while improving image contrast. The optical
path is fully multi-coated with their proprietary SXL anti-reflection coatings
to further increase light transmission, image contrast and sharpness, and provide
true colour rendition. This all translates to bright and clear high-contrast
images with accurate colour across the entire wide field of view. The wide
view, combined with the moderate magnification, produces an expansive and
immersive observational experience.
To hold up to a lifetime of outdoor use, the optical tubes
are nitrogen-filled and O-ring sealed to make them not only fog-proof when
moving between extreme temperatures, but also waterproof and submersible to
3.3' for up to 30-minutes. The exterior has black rubberised Armor that
protects against knocks and drops, and offers a slip-resistant grip for sure
handling in cold and wet conditions. Styrka includes a one-piece ocular rain-guard
and tethered objective lens covers, plus a binoculars' harness that keeps the
binoculars close to the body while moving to eliminate snags and swing, and
relieve neck strain by redistributing the weight to the shoulders.
