A Bank Indonesia 50 sen note/Dua Puluh Lima Sen signed by the Governnor and the Director. Hypernflation of the early '60s resulted in the new rupiah which was the legal tender. The notes were withdrawn on 15 Nov 1996. Size of the note is 110mm x 55mm and the colour is red. Featured on the obverse is Man/Volunteer with hat and a badge while the reverse has spiral paterns. Serial numbers have 3 letters and 6 digits. On the obverse is featured Captain Pattimura while the reverse has Maitara and Tidore Islands with fishermen on a boat.The note is signed by the Governor and the Deputy Governor of the Bank.Serial number of the note has 3 letters and 6 digits on the reverse of the note. The year of issue is 1964. No security security thread or watermark. Because of multiple listings the serial numbers may be non-sequential.
