Product Description

Everbuild Quick Drying Wood Stain is a professional, low solvent wood stain that enhances the natural qualities of wood, and provides long lasting protection.

The weatherproof protection provided by Everbuild Wood Stain also gives a crack and peel resistant finish and excellent resistance to ultra violet light degradation.

Ideal for use on smooth planed exterior and interior timber, such as doors, window frames, architectural timbers, conservatories, cladding & garden furniture etc.

Under normal weathering conditions Everbuild Quick Drying Wood Stain can be expected to provide protection for up to 5 Years.

Surface Preparation

Ensure wood is clean, dry and free from dirt or dust. Any rough surfaces or areas should be sanded until smooth. Old varnish or paint finishes must be completely removed by sanding or stripping before applying of Everbuild Wood Stain.

Old wood stain finishes should be cleaned and lightly sanded to provide a key before application

Application

Stir product well before use and intermittently during application.

Brush apply Everbuild Wood Stain, always following the direction of the wood grain, approximately 3 coats will be required for full coverage. It is touch dry in 30 minutes, allow to dry for 4 hours in between coats, lightly sand the surface before applying the final coat taking care to only sand very lightly around edges.

Always apply the stain to a wet edge, working systematically across the surface keeping the wet edge moving together as much as possible.

After applying to an area the finished appearance will be improved by feather brushing over the entire area with an unloaded brush taking care to follow the wood grain.

When re-coating on darker shades of stain Everbuild Quick Drying Wood Stain in clear can be used to refresh the coat without further darkening the surface.

Clean brushes with water after use, a little washing up liquid will assist brush cleaning.

Maintenance

Inspect surfaces every 3 -5 years depending on exposure to weathering and apply top up maintenance coat as required.

Coverage Guide

Up to 20 square metres per litre. Coverage will vary depending on the absorbency of the wood.

Storage

Store in cool dry conditions between + 5 and +25°C. Storage outside these conditions will dramatically reduce shelf life. PROTECT FROM FROST.
