I love Biarritz though I mainly go for the superb seasonal fish cuisine down at the harbour.

While that beach is often much more crowded the undertows on those Atlantic beaches make me cautious.

Its hard to describe unless you know the place that the foreground surf is almost more realist than abstract.

It is a simply superb place to visit and those maze like staircases in the rock do keep you fit.

It certainly reminds me of better days in these strained times of lockdown and Brexit and I guess if you are viewing this then you have a connection to the place and some memory is triggered by what you see. 

If not then stick it on your post lockdown bucket list. You will not regret it.

Mussette is well known for using aquarelle and this is a fine example.
