Water pump gasket High Quality rubberised OE type...

These gaskets suit both high (1275) and std (948, 1098) volume pumps across the A-series (not 803)

The HiQ is a high quality rubberised version.  It is two layers of rubber sandwiched together and is relatively thick.  It is a genuine soft rubber seal.

If you're changing the pump with the motor in situ,  it can be hard to clean the block-face.  Having a high quality seal certainly helps and avoids the drips later.

Or perhaps you're refitting your used pump again a high Q seal helps.

There is a standard quality paper gasket listed separately.

I have used both in my car at various times with the gasket goo **(tarry non-solidifying) and am happy to report NO LEAKS

** below is my reply to a very valid question from someone "what is this stuff??"...

Gday Barry.... Gasket goo is a permatex product covering a few types of sealant.  Silicone has some limitations... and it also should be used sparingly as you don't want cured bits of silicone floating around in sytems (any system).

I suggested this as it is a good alternative here....  not a panacea for all ills... just another tool in the box....

The brown tarry one has been around for yonks... hang on and i will grab the bugger... wait here.... ok .. I'm back... whoops.. mine expired in 2006!!  still ok though

Hmmm OK... I have the answer, but it looks like a case of me being an old fart... I will change the text... I often use terms that are way out of date... as I learnt them when I was young... like "jiffy bag"... my much younger 54 yr old bro had no idea what i was on about using this term.. they have been "padded bag" for ages apparently.  So it is with "gasket goo".  I can find people talking about it, but it is not sold as that anymore.  Now it is "permatex form-a-gasket.no 3 sealant liquid non-hardening".    Hey Permatex guys... I think you listened to the wrong marketing advice here... not so catchy as "gasket goo" as it was back in the 70s..

Anyway there you go... look for that... I will put this on the listing.

The same brother becomes quite frustrated when i work with him as i will always tend to use feet and inches... unless it is a measure-and-build... not that i like imperial per se... it's just too burned in for everyday use.  My dual tape measures get him hot under the collar too haha

Occy straps are another... the term is vanishing... comes from 1960s when people put suitcases etc on their old-school roof rack and then used elastic hooked straps tied together with four central loops, so it had eight legs (like a noughts and crosses game) called OCTOPUS straps !!!.  Some bright spark pulled the four rings off and started using them separately.... but the name occy stuck.  Sigh... the minor tribulations of becoming an old fart.

To look for items in my shop, it is easiest to look in the (sometimes yellow) box of "shop categories".   Select the category of interest and all items in that category will appear.  It is much easier than keywords.  Alternatively, if it is not showing, then right next to “visit store” at the top right (NOT “see other items” !!!) is the link/word “jimmytheparrot1” … just click that and the categories will be listed on the page. If you’re using Ebay’s useless mobile app, I have no idea… this app is a real shocker/compromise in quality and half the stuff is missing.

SHOP-category examples "BRAKE"   or   "TRAFFICATOR parts"   or "LIGHTS"   or   "AXLES"   or   "COOLING"  etc etc
