Offering this lovely vintage plaster ware plaque featuring a Spanish Conquistador with an upturned sword.  Popular in the 1970's, this Spanish warrior is dressed in avocado green and has harvest gold epaulets and matching gloves with a faux wood tone background.  It is 14 inches long, 10 inches wide, and two inches thick.  Characteristic of plaster ware, there are a few minor nicks along the rim of his helmet, to the left shoulder, and left glove across the knuckles.  These do not detract from the beauty of this antique looking decorator wall art.  The front is fully intact.  The back of the plaque has two cracks present one that runs above the top hole to the right corner and one that runs upwards to the left and down vertically running 2/3's of the way down the length of the plaque. This plaque continues to shows beautifully and I consider it to be in good condition overall.  The price reflects the condition of the item.
