Important, 19th century, French Onyx, Champlevé, gilt - and silvered bronze Jardinière,

Centerpiece and most probably work by Eugene Cornu.

This exquisite quality, Napoleon III Centrepiece around 1860-1880.

Oval Onyx gilt and silvered bronze mounted Jardinière set with enamel plaques all around.

Each side flanked by a silvered bronze Putto as handle with double patina.

Front and back each centered by a medaillon with a classical female mask.

Original metal liner present.

(not in photos due to limit of 12 photos and I wanted to show its condition from the inside) (ask for photo)

Marks: 

Partly demounted it showed following stamp "..78 MASSELOTTE" in one of the bronze rings (photo at disposal)

Although not signed, but similar pieces can be found with the Eugene Cornu signature, Paris and the Algerian Onyx mines.

Gilt- & silvered bronze with the usual age wear, nice original condition and patina.
