One book-matched set (2 pieces) of premium stabilized, double-dyed Western figured Big Leaf maple knife scales with nice flame figure.  These pieces have been professionally acrylic stabilized.  Hand selected for dynamic color and figure. 

Dimensions are 7/16" thick x 1-3/4" wide x 5-3/4" long each piece.  Total bookmatched width 3-1/2".   These scales are jumbo size in thickness allowing more material to shape.

Dimensions stated are accurate within +- 1/32 of an inch.  The scales shown are the scales you will receive.

Scales or blocks have been sanded and lightly coated with a clear finish to show figure and colors.

Note: as you are probably aware figured wood scales may have small natural anomalies such as bark inclusions, fissures or small bug holes.  Please see photo.  I strive to cut these blanks/scales in such a way as to minimize these issues.  What you see are part of its natural characteristics, not a defect.
