This style is referred to as "fish scale" channel inlay because the delicately cut and shaped pieces of stone resemble the shape of fish scales.  This is a difficult method to use because each stone needs to be cut exactly to fit in the pre-shaped sterling silver channels.  This money clip features beautifully crafted inlaid fish scale design using sleeping beauty turquoise and opalescent white mother of pearl set on a heavy base of sterling silver.  The face of the money clip is very smooth to the touch, no high or low or rough feeling.   Money clips are nickel or stainless steel as purchased by the artist.  The work on top is sterling silver.
