New old stock it is an original electro mechanical unit which makes the nostalgic ‘gudink, gudink’ when switched on

These units have been tested on a simulated indicator circuit - they work perfectly

connections - these units need to be connected the correct way - the blade pattern and terminals are identical to the Lucas FL5 , so it will clip in to any existing block you may have. If you have loose wires ( which many cars do under the dash ) it should be connected as follows:

X = Power in (12v feed) - this is the B terminal on the FL5

P = feed to warning dash lamp

L = Flasher signal out to lamps

As with all components , the sure fire way to change the flasher over is to ensure the ignition is off , and then transfer one lead at a time , double checking that the terminals are connected as above

These units are load sensitive , so it MUST be connected correctly , or you will ‘fry’ the new unit as soon as it is powered up

The old Lucas FL5 in the last picture is for illustration only and not included

Please check the photos carefully to ensure this is the correct one for your classic
