Honeybees actually line up on the outside of the petals before they pop open! It's fun to watch.

Datura has several common names. It is often called 'Angel Trumpet',  'Devil's Trumpet' or 'Moonflower'.

The fragrant and showy flowers open late in the day to enhance the evening garden.

If your time only allows you to enjoy an evening garden, then Datura is the plant for you.

The pale white blooms will glow well into the twilight and their scent is heavenly.

Great to plant under a bedroom window for sweet sent to waft though the air.

The flowers are 6" long and wide, trumpet-shaped and white in color, tinged with lilac.

The flowers last only a day or two, but blooms appear from mid summer to late fall.

Ideal for sunny dry areas where they will thrive and look like small shrubs.

They are quite hardy and drought tolerant.

They are an annual that can be a perennial in parts of the south.
