Elijah Albert Cox (1876–1955) Painter, illustrator, muralist, poster designer born in London. E A Cox studied at Whitechapel People’s Palace Technical School, Bolt Court school, and later at the London College of Printing. He worked form a time as assistant to the artist Sir Frank Brangwyn (1867-1956). Cox exhibited widely including at the Royal Academy and Society of Graphic Artists. He was elected to the RBA in 1915 and the RI in 1921.

I have acquired a body of work by E A Cox, consisting of watercolours and drawings from the artist sketchbooks, many with inscriptions. The last image details the whole collection. This listing is for a single paper, as detailed below. 

Snowdon and another drawing below titled Hadley Castle?. Graphite drawings on one sheet in white, black and red chalk on sand coloured wove paper from the artists sketchbook. Very reasonable condition, with light age toning and very slight ripple to the paper.
