Atari Lynx Cartridge No Manual, No Box.

Thanks to a customer telling me that the labels were different on some cartridges I found 3 versions of the Atari Lynx Curved Lip California Games.

We have sold many hundred of these and never noticed that variation before.

Some say Made in Taiwan and some say made in China and some have the China made blacked out, which should mean they were made in Taiwan. These are all original made by Atari they just marked them an being made in different locations. I do not know why the change and why Atari had different labels but I assume they ran out of labels and had new ones printed and just used the old labels. THESE ARE NOT PIRATED. These all came direct from the Atari Warehouse in Sunnyvale California.

They are all Authentic Atari. There are many variations to labels, boxes and manuals.

I only have a couple left marked Taiwan with about 1/2 and 1/2 for the made in China or marked out.

If you want to pay $5 each more we will pick which one you want if we have any left of that marking.

California Games was released with the Lynx as its pack-in title in September, 1989. It features four different “extreme games” that can be selected from the title screen – BMX, Surfing, Halfpipe and Footbag – each with a fast-paced arcade feel, allowing just 1 minute and 30 seconds to swing tricks and successfully finish with a new high score.

At the end of the round, scores from all four events are displayed at once, giving you the freedom compete at your own pace, in any order, while tying everything together at the end to compare scores from across the board.
