These Tahitian pearl necklaces are loose strands (temporarily strung only, not knotted
between the pearls and have no clasp). Each strand is 16 inches long.
When fully knotted and secured with a clasp, each strand will extend to
approximately 18 inches. There is some length versatility here. If the intention is to create one double-strand (layered) necklace, you can play around with how long you want each strand to hang, taking from or adding pearls to a strand, depending on your preferred overall look. Or, you may opt to combine both strands into one continuous rope necklace.
