This is a scarce c1953 vintage Carr&Co Ltd Carlisle souvenir biscuit tin depicting the newly launched Royal Yacht BRITTANIA which replaced the 55 year old yacht Victoria and Albert.It is nice in it portrays the history of all of the previous Royal Yachts showing pictures of both the “Mary” and the Victoria and Albert at either end.It is in a very good condition with some wear to the edge of the lid and its overall measurements are 23.5cm long x 15.5cm wide x 4.2cm deep.
