Up for sale is a unique frame.  An Eddy Merckx steel frame which has been converted to a softride time trial bike.  Evidence of Eddy Merckx origin can be seen on bottom bracket as well as on fork crown (see photos).  Rear spacing is 130mm.  Front spacing 100mm.  Included is original Eddy Merckx fork and dura ace headset as well as new full carbon (including steerer) fork and threadless headset and carbon stem (31.8 handlebar diameter).  Also included is vintage Campagnolo crankset (52/42) and square taper bottom bracket.  Frame bottom bracket threads (Italian) in perfect shape.  Cranks and bottom bracket run nicely together.  I include a second seat bracket for softride beam that offers slightly lower position (see photo).  I am 6’ and frame fits me (probably close to limit).  The beauty of this is flexibility in finding perfect time trial position.  Recommended rider weight for beam is 200lbs.  Pls note that first photo with wheels and drivetrain is for illustration purposes only.  Look to final photo to see what is included in this auction.  Buyer pays actual shipping costs determined after auction is ended.
