Smooth that throttle AND achieve better fuel economy! The Motocorsaro O2 Optimiser adjusts the Air/Fuel ratio into the closed loop fuel injection circuit on compatible Piaggio/Moto Guzzi/Aprilia V-Twin models, to improve the poor low RPM running condition by factory emissions restricted mapping, and will give the following improved fuelling characteristics:

Smoother Throttle Response (particularly low RPM on/off throttle transition)

Sport Mode (if applicable to your model) - in particular, results in savage & unpredictable low RPM throttle response/surging.  Always annoying, as every low RPM manouver feels like you are fighting with the bike. And sometimes, it is downright dangerous. This modification gives improved smoother control, noticed particularly in slow/medium speed turns and in traffic, when the bike's balance is upset, from the abrupt/harsh reaction to small throttle adjustments.

On the standard bikes, most owners resort to riding in Touring or even Rain Mode, as this lessens the severity of the throttle surging in Sport Mode.  After fitting the Motorcorsaro Optimiser, you’ll want to use Sport Mode all the time and actually enjoy riding your motorcycle again!

Reduced or Eliminated Surging

Reduced or Eliminated Popping & backfiring on closed throttle (overrun) due to lean fuelling - This characteristic will be further exaggerated if you have replaced the standard exhaust, catalyser and/or air filter.  

Improved Fuel Economy

Fuel consumption will also improve after the unit is fitted, from our testing, you can reasonably expect an improvement in the region of 4-7 mpg.  

Fitting is straight forward 'plug & play'.  No wiring requires altering or cutting.  The unit simply connects between the existing OEM connectors.  Each unit is supplied precisely pre-calibrated for your model. The unit can be finely adjusted. However, adjustment must be by VERY SMALL increments. The recommendation though, is to just to leave it set at the pre-calibrated position and ride.  Remember, the unit improves the lean fuelling condition. That's what you should expect to experience - a significant improvement. The unit comes with comprehensive fitting & set-up instructions and zip ties.  The unit will work in all operating conditions, climates and elevations irrespective of what other tuning modifications you have fitted.  Just follow the instructuctions.
