The
kale cabbage tronchuda / penca is a vegetable very appreciated in
Portugal especially enjoyed at Christmas and New Year's Eve.
The
tree trunk is planted during most of the year, with the largest
plantation fort being concentrated in mid-August and September in the
northern hemisphere.
For the
success of a good plantation there are some factors to take into
account: Climate with temperatures from 5ºC to 30ºC, light soil, well
manured and with little humidity, pH of the soil between 6 and 7.5 and
if possible to plant inmoon phase crescent moon phase.
