For all the busy body do-gooders that troll ebay looking for items to " report " please note this is an EMPTY bottle.... just because it has a seal on it or the description says sealed wine bottle. This is jargon on the bottle collecting world about the applied seal on the side of the bottle. It has nothing to do with the top mouth of the bottle. So just to make it clear the bottle is EMPTY.
This is an antique moulded wine bottle that has a large seal on the lower base edge side which reads INNER TEMPLE.
Some folks say these are 1820 ish .. but to me its later more like 1870-90. Its not a free blown bottle with a pontil scar ... only the top mouth string rim is applied and hand worked as too is the glass seal applied on.. it is NOT glued on at a later date on a cheap cylinder !
In collectable condition with normal signs of age and use wear. No chips or cracks in the glass from what I can see but there are some surface scuffs. No sickness or discolouration. There may be some manufacturing faults like bubbles etc.

It measures approx. 9 and 1/2 inches tall and approx. 2 and 7/8 inches in diameter on the base.

Scale is usually an English 1 penny coin which is 20mm in diameter which is just short of 7/8ths of an inch in diameter.
