The top is made from reclaimed scaffold boards that have been cleaned sanded to bring out the natural beauty of the timber. As it is reclaimed timber there are blemishes, dents and other characteristics that reveals aspects of the timber's journey to the workshop. Once construction is completed a medium oak stain and a wax finish is applied. The rich grain and live knots are clearly visible on all surfaces.
